Small Green Lentils
Small green lentils are hearty, firm, and earthy. They hold their shape very nicely during the whole cooking process.
Small green lentils are a good source of iron, and very high in fibre.
Ingredients: Small green lentils. May contain wheat.
- Rinse lentils under cold water.
- Place lentils in a large saucepan. Cover with at least 5cm of cold water. Season water with salt.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-25 minutes or until tender. Drain.
