Whipped Feta Dip with Chickpeas

Whipped Feta Dip with Chickpeas

This yummy, creamy whipped feta dip incorporates the added protein from chickpeas and the flavour of fresh tahini, lemon juice, and chili oil. This recipe is a great dip to whip up for a potluck, or as a healthy snack. It’s also a great spread on just about anything!

Why you’ll love this whipped feta dip:

  • Creamy: I love the creaminess you get from the tahini and feta cheese
  • Delicious: The flavours in this dip are so good that you’ll blink and it’ll be gone
  • Easy: Make this in just 30-minutes

Ingredient Notes:

Chickpeas: With their nutty flavour, and buttery texture, chickpeas are so perfect for any dish, and great for dips. For this recipe, I used Silo’s Chickpeas which are high quality, and high in protein and fibre.

Tahini: Tahini is made with toasted, ground-hulled sesame and is an infamous Middle Eastern condiment. It’s a major ingredient in several dips like hummus, but can also be used in things like salad dressings too!

How to make whipped feta & chickpea dip:

  1. Add the garlic cloves, cooked Silo Chickpeas, sea salt, black pepper, tahini, greek yogurt lemon juice, and cream to a food processor.
  2. Blend until combined.
  3. Add the feta and blend until slightly smooth.
  4. While blending, slowly stream in the olive oil until smooth.
  5. Repeat this process for the ice-cold water as well until you reach a light, smooth consistency.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and serve with fresh veggies, tortilla chips or a toasted baguette! Enjoy!
