Beluga lentils are the caviar of the lentil family. These small, nutrient-dense lentils hold their shape in the whole cooking process, making them a great option for a variety of lentil dishes.
Beluga lentils are a good source of iron, and very high in fibre.
Ingredients: Beluga lentils. May contain wheat.
- Rinse lentils under cold water.
- Place lentils in a large saucepan. Cover with at least 5cm of cold water. Season water with salt.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-25 minutes or until tender. Drain.
